The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) for Master in Business Administration (MBA) 2016 will be held in the state on March 12th and 13th.


 The syllabus for the examination is out for candidates to prepare well before giving the exams. This test will enable candidates to take admission to more than 200 colleges.The examination would take place online across different centres set by the organisation.


The details of the MAH MBA CET Exam 2016 are as follows:


Quantitative Aptitude: This section of the paper will have questions related to arithmetic problems and basic mathematical questions to test mathematics know how of students, simple calculations, ratio and proportions and percentages.


Verbal Ability: This section will judge the overall knowledge of the English language. There would be questions from basic English grammar, vocabulary and sentence formation skills etc.
 Logical Reasoning: This is one of the most important parts of the test as it will test the ability of the candidates to take instant decision based on logic. It will also test the instant thinking capacity of the brain with questions on sequencing, logic formation, pattern finding and other reasoning problems
 Abstract Reasoning: This paper is similar to logical reasoning. Like logical reasoning, this portion tests the logical capability of the candidates as well, but abstract reasoning is tested more through the figure based questions. Candidates are also asked questions related to figurative tendency, structural pattern and nonlinear images.

Overall, there would be four topics on which candidates would be tested on. The total duration of the exam is set to be 150 minutes.
